Pace Yourself....That has kind of been my motto this month...and my t-shirt arrived yesterday...just in time for today's run.
So, I met my goal of running the 5k in less than 40 minutes. I now have a base time and A LOT of work to do the next 2 months to be ready to do it again on Thanksgiving Day.
We had an awesome race day. I learned that I have some new amazing friends....and some old amazing friends too. The support I got from friends in this was AMAZING!
I was super excited for Norm who placed 3rd in the Men's Walking. I also got a prize...in the drawing after. A cute ISU Bengal stuffed animal!
